Apple has launched it's new iPad. This is a truely revolutionary device. Yes, tablets have been around for a long time, but this is so much more than an ordinary tablet. The iPad is a mear 1/2 inch thick and weighs just 1.5 pounds. It has an extemely precise touch screen display and can run nearly 140,000 apps that are already available from Apple. iPad can do anything an iPod can do only better. You can download your favorite songs and movies from iTunes, read your favorite books from iBooks, and find your favorite coffee shop using Google Maps. Just in case you are wondering, the Wi-Fi models will be available in March and the 3G model will begin shipping in April according to apple.com. The Wi-Fi model will have the option of using AT&T wireless internet service, but it will come unlocked so you are free to choose whatever provider you want. The 3G iPad will come with Verizon Wireless broadband internet. The price range for the iPad will be from $499 to $829 and it has between 16GB and 64GB of storage.
